Merit Points are the basis of the bet365 Poker VIP Scheme. You earn points whenever you play poker for real money, both on the cash tables and in tournaments.

The points are credited to your account and can be used to access all the current benefits.

To see how many Merit Points you have, go to the My Account section of the poker lobby. During each cash table session, the amount of points you have earned is displayed in the top left hand corner of the table.

On cash tables, you earn Merit Points according to the amount of rake which is attributed to you. This amount, your attributed rake, is determined by the proportion of the total pot you contribute. In tournaments, you earn points according to the amount you pay in fees.

For cash table play, you earn Merit Points at a rate of 15 for every $1 of attributed rake. A maximum of $2.50 in rake can be attributed to any individual player in any single hand so you can earn up to 37.5 points in each hand.

As a result of $50,000 Freeroll Frenzy, until 11th April you earn Merit Points at a rate of 20 for every $1 paid in tournament fees. There’s no limit to the number of points you can earn as a result of each tournament.
