UB no longer shows Liv Boeree on pro page

CrunchPoker Staff - 6 Aug 2010

The rumors that Liv Boeree has left UB after about a year appear to be true.

Liv Boeree has received a lot of press over the last year for her poker prowess and her sponsorship with UB.com, home of other top female poker pros like Annie Duke and Tiffany Michelle. Liv joined UB.com in August of 2009, and as August heated up this year the rumors began that she was looking for greener pastures.

As such a hot property Liv could likely find a sponsorship deal much to her liking with any major online poker room, and with the various PR problems UB.com has had over the last couple of years one wonders what may have happened that they were unable to hold on to the poker pro.

While the official announcement has yet to hit the public press, the telling fact that Liv is no longer listed among UB pros like Duke, Michelle, Joe Seebok, Phil Hellmuth and Scott Ian on the “Meet The Pros” page of the UB site certainly lends credence to the rumors.

While poker players won’t be able to catch Liv online at UB anymore (as an official pro, and if the rumors are true) they can still sign up to play Duke and the rest.
