Tom “durrrr” Dwan to recoup WSOP losses in “durrrr Challenge”

CrunchPoker Staff - 5 Aug 2010

Tom “durrrr” Dwan is out for some compensation after his financially excruciating run at the World Series of Poker and he will be looking to win back his money at what he knows the best - , the “durrrr Challenge”.

Tom Dwan plays his poker online with Full Tilt poker.  Sign up through CrunchPoker and play against the pros, use the Full Tilt Promo code MAXIMUMBONUS to get the top $600 free bonus for all new depositors.

Dwan and fellow pro superstar Patrik Antonius will finish their on-going challenge a year and a half after the action kicked off.  With nearly 40,000 hands played, Dwan is miles ahead of his rival and he will be confident of seeing off the competition after the conclusion of the WSOP.

The durrrr Challenge sees Dwan battle it out with his opponent playing 50,000 hands of No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha at $200/$400 blinds or higher. If either of the two rivals ends up dropping below 75 big blinds, they are required to reload. After 50,000 hands, if Dwan is $500,000 ahead he wins and wins $500,000. If Dwan’s opponent is the leader at the end, he walks away with $1.5 million.  Incredibly high stakes and very much in the opponents favour!

Dwan will go head-to-head with online superstar jungleman12 in his next challenge and all eyes will be on the match as the poker community waits for the two online giants to battle it out.
