PokerStars Pro Chad Brown came close but no cigar to winning $10,000 Limit event at the 2009 World Series of Poker
One of the many “Championship” events came to a close recently at the Rio in Las Vegas, and PokerStars Pro Chad Brown missed getting the title and bracelet by two places.
His third place finish is certainly nothing to sneeze at, and his command of the field leading up to the three way match was a testament to his poker prowess. As Greg Mueller and Pat Pezzin won a few important pots, however, his lead slipped away, and in the end he busted in third.
This represents Brown’s highest money finish at the WSOP, and his first final table. He has also final tabled in the WPT and the EPT, but has yet to seal the deal with a victory.
