PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu stars in this commercial that puts him the ring with a boxer… sorta.
Ah, Danny. This time I don’t believe you. When you stood up “threateningly” it came across like you just had to run to the loo. In the other commercials you’ve been pretty believable, but this time it just didn’t come home for me.
Not your fault, I’m sure – you just did what the director told you to do. But Mr. Director, you missed out a chance to make a great commercial.
Not that this was so bad – it looks as slick as the rest of the Challenge II commercials PokerStars released this year, but it ends too abruptly with not enough (read: any) action. This is boxing! Let’s have Daniel throwing chips and cut to his opponent rocking with punches!
