This weekend marks the final chance to qualify for the WPT Vienna Main Event with PartyPoker.com.
Each prize package for the event which takes place between the 10th – 15th April at the Montesino is worth $7,000 and includes the $4,700 main event buy-in, hotel accommodation for six nights and $900 spending money.
The mix of freerolls, qualifiers and weekly satellites at
Party Poker run until Sunday 25th March with the main $375 online satellite with one package guaranteed taking place at 15.20 ET (21.20 CEST).
The latest news on the PartyPoker.com Premier League V that precedes the WPT Main Event sees French poker legend and all round winning machine Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier join the line-up. ElkY said: “This will be the first time I have taken part in the Premier League and I'm super excited to compete with all those great players in such a unique and interesting format."
ElkY joins Patrik Antonius, Vanessa Selbst, Sam Trickett, Tony G, Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz, Erik Seidel, Andy Frankenberger, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Eugene Katchalov, Tom Dwan, Phil Laak and Daniel Cates in the $125,000 buy-in event where $200,000 is added by the sponsors. One more player will join the line-up before it gets underway, with two players qualifying through the play-offs.
In addition to serving as Tournament Director during the WPT Vienna Main Event, WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage will oversee the action of the PartyPoker.com Premier League. “I’m very excited to be a part of the Premier League.
