LAPT Punta del Este report - Day Two, PokerStars qualifier leads

Brian Thomas - 19 Mar 2009

The record-breaking field of 327 for LAPT Punta del Este has been whittled down to 64 players who return for day 2 of play in Uruguay. The current chip leader is PokerStars Online Qualifier Oliver Rowe from Canada who has 136,000.

In second place is Alberto Andres Font Rytzner, from Spain, with 135,125, who also qualified with PokerStars. Both of them stand a chance of taking bite out of the USD$1,110,200 prize pool the event has generated and which pays out to the top 36. The top prize is a massive USD$283,500.

Unfortunately, all Team PokerStars Pros were eliminated, although 16 PokerStars online qualifiers continue to fly the flag for the event sponsor.
