Karschamroon wins 2010 California State Poker Championship

CrunchPoker Staff - 27 May 2010

The 2010 California State Poker Championship wraps with local grinder Patrick Karschamroon the victor.

Each year three weeks of tournament poker at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles draws bit pro and local amateur alike to the California State Poker Championship. It was a mix of these, a local pro, who won the big main event title this year.

Twenty eight year old Patrick Karschamroon is a cash game player, although he’s made money in tourney play as well. Last year’s Legends of Poker series at the Bicycle Casino was his first victory, made over 175 players in a $1,000 event.

Karschamroon is going to take his $162,970 prize and use it in Las Vegas to play at the 2010 World Series of Poker.
