Ivey and Ziigmund 'indanger'

Phil Ivey and Ziigmund succumbed to Di ‘Urindanger' Dang in a monster $322k pot as high stakes PLO action on Full Tilt Poker became as frantic as ever.

At a 6 max $300/$600 table including David Benyamine, John Juanda, Di ‘urindanger’ Dang, Ziigmund and Phil Ivey, the latter three entered a memorable pot.

Holding the nuts pre-flop, Ivey’s $23,000 raise with A 7 A 7 enticed Dang's 4 K K 4 into the pot. Ziigmund also made a questionable call with 9 K 10 6.

The 10 3 K flop drew a $63k continuation bet from Ivey, and holding top set, Dang  went all in. Ziigmund also called with top two pair, but was effectively drawing dead. The 9 Q on the turn and river meant Dang’s trip kings held up and he scooped the $322k pot.

Tom Dwan also enjoyed a winning session, recording a $500k profit. He clashed with Patrik Antonius, as the usually measured Finn got his hand caught in the cookie jar. On a J 6 10 3 5 Antonius made a $30k bluff on the river with 9 2 Q K for a busted wrap draw. Dwan made a good call with a weak flush (6 3 Q 9) and snaffled the $102k pot.
