Fan plays Ladbrokes Poker Song

Brian Thomas - 20 Mar 2009

No kidding. You know online poker has hit the mainstream when songs are being written about them, and one Terry Prunty not only wrote one of these songs, but it sounds like he put his heart and soul in it. Check this out.

I’m listening to the music right off and thinking, “this is pretty dark sounding for a song about playing at Ladbrokes Poker”. I liked it, but wasn’t sure where Mr. Prunty was going to head. Then the lyrics started to fit in – like many songs, this one isn’t really about PLAYING poker at Ladbrokes – it is about what the player is going through as he plays, what he gets from the game and what he gives to it.

“I needed a King, but I drew a Jack.”

I hear you, brother. I hear you.

Check it out below and then you – (not just you, Terry, but you can too) should hit up Ladbrokes for some of today’s Vegas Dream qualifiers.

Win one of these and I guarantee you’ll change your tune (har har.)
