PokerStars Qualifier wins EPT Monte Carlo

The wind up event for Season Six of the European Poker Tour is taken down by a PokerStars qualifier!

The winner of the EPT in Monte Carlo is 23-year old Nicolas Chouity, who qualified for the event at PokerStars via a $22 satellite. He outlasted 848 players and took down the top prize of €1,700,000.

The final hand was pocket aces over the pocket eights of Josef Klinger, who moved all in with a 4 to 1 chip deficit. The aces held up and Chouity was crowned champion.

The next season of the EPT will be kicking off in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, and qualifiers will give you the chance to slip in for cheap just like Nicolas Chouity.
