The gauntlet has been thrown when Annette Obrestad makes the claim that “girls suck at poker.”
The remark was made during a recent interview with ESPN.com. Obrestad, who started playing online at the tender age of 15 (and thus her online nickname of Annette_15), won the 2007 World Series of Poker Europe and is the only female to have a championship bracelet from the WSOP.
Obrestad continued to make enemies over friends when she clamed that Doyle Brunson would not be a challenge for her to beat.
