7th WSOP Bracelet for Men Nguyen

CrunchPoker Staff - 7 Jun 2010

The man they call The Master has shown his mastery at the World Series of Poker by winning a seventh bracelet.

Men "The Master" Nguyen won his 7th World Series of Poker Bracelet in the $10,000 buy-in seven-card stud world championship event in Las Vegas. He belongs to the “B” team of WSOP champions in terms of bracelets won, tied with Phil Ivey and Billy Baxter for sixth for most bracelets, but with 67 cashes at the WSOP over his career -- second behind Phil Hellmuth – he is certainly a cut above the rest.

Nguyen beat Brandon Adams in heads up competition to collect $394,807. This marked his 38th WSOP final table, and his 3rd seven-card stud bracelet. Here are the top five finishers:

1. Men Nguyen ($394,800)
2. Brandon Adams ($243,958)
3. Steve Billirakis ($152,788)
4. Nikolay Evdakov ($110,629)
5. Joe Cassidy ($86,461)
6. Michael Mizrachi ($68,949)
