2009 WSOP Event 1 Results

CrunchPoker Staff - 31 May 2009

The casino employees got the first go this year with Event 1 at the 2009 World Series of Poker, a discounted event that tests the poker mettle of croupiers, bartenders and concierges.

The $500 No-Limit Hold'em Casino Employees built up a $389,700 Prize Pool from the 866 players sent from casinos from around the globe to play. Each player sought to add to their personal glory and bring some of that home for the home team. The winner was Andrew Cohen, who took the lion’s share of the prize pool in the form of $83,833.
