Sunday is a day of giving for a lot of folks, and Full Tilt Poker is helping out with two charity poker tournaments, one live and one online.
The first is a $200+$100 charity tournament to raise funds for Thuy Doan, who is battling cancer and requires a prosthetic leg that her insurance company will not pay for. One-hundred percent of the rake for the event will go straight to Doan’s medical expenses. The tournament can be found in the “Private” tab in the Full Tilt Poker lobby under the ID 158232539.
Also on the docket today is the 10th annual Omar Sharif Poker & Backgammon Tournament. This one takes place in the real world, at Sketch, Conduit Street, London from 5 p.m.
Full Tilt Poker has put up celebrity bounties and prizes in aid of the One to One children’s charity.
