PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event 21 high stakes event NL Hold'em Heads Up Match Play offered one of the biggest buy in events going.
The names in the event were what you'd expect: Negreanu, Minieri, Eastgate, ElkY, and Duthie. Only one of those people would advance to the money, however. At the start of the final four, all the players were guaranteed $120,000. The match-ups looked like this:
John Duthie vs. Dokosoko
toweliestar vs. mistakooll
Team PokerStars Pro and creator of the European Poker Tour, John Duthie, finished in second place for his $250,000.
That left the championship for Germany's own toweliestar. He not only picked up the $310,000 for first place, but the coveted title of $25,000 Heads-Up SCOOP champion.
