PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event 15 high stakes event 8-Game saw huge buy ins for one of the most difficult poker games available.
The big buy-in event drew 84 of the world's top poker players. Event if you didn't know their screen names, you'd probably recognize them on TV, Among the bigger names, Team PokerStars Pros Gavin Griffin, Greg Raymer, Barry Greenstein, Chad Brown, John Duthie, Alexander Kravchenko, and Daniel Negreanu. Of the whole Team, only Negreanu managed to make it into the top nine players. That guaranteed him a little money and a chance to make the six-handed final table. Things did not work out in his favor, however, and Negreanu finished on the final table bubble for $13,440.
The heads up battle took nearly 250 hands and nearly an hour and half -- the pycb picked up $67,200 for second place and watched what is 7x6 take the title and the $100,800 first prize.
