Party Poker takes poker players to a new high
Online poker room Party Poker is going live with a poker event coming up in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event is named Poker in the Sky, and that is exactly what it is.
Players will be seated on a platform that will be in turn suspended by a crane 150 feet in the air over the Copenhagen Town Hall. The event has a lot of people talking, and at least one player talked himself out of playing. Even though he had already qualified once this player realized exactly how high 150 feet was he opted out.
The 22 person tournament will keep the players suspended for four hours until the event is over and done, and will include a few big names of the game such as J.C. Tran, Mike Sexton, Neil Channing and Tom “durrrr” Dwan.
