Isildur1 is the world’s most infamous high-stakes online cash game player, and now you can watch him play exclusively at PokerStars. The SuperStar Showdown will see Isildur1 take on all-comers in high stakes action.
The Format
A SuperStar Showdown is a high stakes, heads-up match consisting of a single session of 2,500 hands. The match is played across four tables of No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, at stakes no lower than $50/$100. The winner is the player that shows either a profit after 2,500 hands, or wins all of their opponent’s match bankroll.
The Participants
If you have the bankroll, you can challenge Isildur1 to a SuperStar Showdown match. Simply send an email to showdown@pokerstars.com to issue the challenge. Please Note: Only serious applicants will get a response.You can also take your shot at beating Isildur1 in a special 1/10th sized version of the SuperStar Showdown. The matches will be located in the PokerStars cash game lobby, under Hold’em > No Limit/Pot Limit, listed as ‘Showdown’ tables.
