More than 70 score poker players are all lined up for EPT San Remo, thanks for winning online qualifiers at PokerStars.
(That’s 140, btw.)
The debut San Remo event last year was a phenomenal success with the 701-strong field far surpassing expectations. PokerStars qualifier Jason Mercier from Florida rose above the rest to capture the title and a massive first prize of €869,000.
This season the cap has been set at 800, giving even more players the chance to compete in this incredible €5,300 buy-in event. With the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo taking place only a few days after EPT San Remo, many top players plan to attend both events in an extended visit to this beautiful part of the Mediterranean.
Qualifiers will be up against some of the best players in the business including current world champion Peter Eastgate who is sponsored by PokerStars and former world champion Greg Raymer. Other top pros due to compete in this stunning Italian seaside resort include Team PokerStars Pros Lee Nelson, Dario Minieri - who final tabled last year, Luca Pagano, Alex Kravchenko, Katja Thater, Marcin Horecki, Noah Boeken and William Thorson.
Sponsored players Ivan Demidov and Johnny Lodden, and Friends of PokerStars Tom McEvoy, Bill Chen and Gualter Salles will also be playing.

You can’t play if you don’t qualify, and you can qualify here.
