PokerStars is hosting a ton of turbo satellites to the 40th annual WSOP on Monday, May 25th
The World Series of Poker turns 40 this year, and online poker room PokerStars seems to put on about 40 satellite tournaments a day to the main event. On Monday, among the normal slew of tourneys, it is easy to pick out all the turbo events on the list.
While turbo events seem to favor the luck over the skill factor, there are some strong reasons to play them. First, they tend to run a little cheaper than the non- turbo events. Second, the pressure of playing turbo can get to some fish, so the skilled player could make use of that.
